Dentsu Group Inc. Holds “ESG Briefing 2024” on Initiatives to Enhance Corporate Value

－Enhancing sustainability and human resource strategy development, as well as corporate governance－

Dentsu Group Inc. (Brand: “dentsu”; Headquarters: Tokyo; President & Global CEO: Hiroshi Igarashi) today announced it held the “ESG Briefing 2024” on September 30, 2024.

The “ESG briefing” was first held in 2023 with a focus on dentsu's efforts to enhance corporate governance to support sustainable growth, and this year marks the second time the meeting has been held. In addition to President & Global CEO Hiroshi Igarashi, three Group management members involved in ESG, Non-Executive Chairman of the Board and two independent outside directors took the stage to report on four initiatives promoted by dentsu: (1) its sustainability strategy^*1, (2) its investment in human resources and organizational strengthening, (3) its progress in the mindset and behavior reform^*2, and (4) its overall ESG activities. They also explained the purpose of the integrated report^*3 that was released in August.

Through connecting diverse talents within and beyond our organization, dentsu exists to create new solutions and beginnings for the sustainable development of our clients and society. We will continue to evolve our initiatives in the fields of sustainability, human resources, and corporate governance, and work to enhance our corporate value through financial and non-financial means.
