Sustainability Governance

At dentsu, we have established a three-tier sustainability governance structure comprising the Board of Directors, the Group Management Board (GMB), and the Group Sustainability Committee. (GSC).
The Board sets the Group’s core sustainability policies and oversees the GMB, receiving reports on key sustainability-related matters approved by the GMB. The GMB reviews and approves sustainability strategies, KPIs, and other proposals developed by the GSC, while monitoring the committee’s activities.
Chaired by the Global Chief Sustainability Officer, the GSC serves as an executive body that reports directly to the GMB and is responsible for managing progress toward dentsu’s material themes.
Four new members, including Global CFO Shigeki Endo, joined the committee from 2026 to bolster our efforts to assess the financial impact of the non-financial initiatives we have advanced to date.
