Notice Regarding an Appointment of Global CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd., a Consolidated Subsidiary

Dentsu Group Inc. (Tokyo: 4324; ISIN: JP3551520004; President & CEO: Toshihiro Yamamoto; Head Office: Tokyo; Capital: 74,609.81 million yen; hereinafter “the company”) announces today that company has decided to appoint the following personnel as Global CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd., the company’s consolidated subsidiary based in London UK.
Additionally, the appointment of her as an executive officer of Dentsu Group Inc. is planned to be resolved at the board of directors meeting of the company to be held by September 2020.

*1: The current title “CEO” is decided to be replaced to “Global CEO” from September 2020.
*2: Tim Andree has been on a health-related leave of absence since January. Tim returned to his role as Director of Dentsu Group Inc. in March 2020 and will return to his other roles at Dentsu Group Inc. and Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd. in a phased approach. During this period, Toshihiro Yamamoto continues as Acting Executive Chairman & CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network, in addition to his role as President & CEO of Dentsu Group Inc.
2. Reason for personnel change
Wendy will be the first female to hold the global CEO role in an agency group. Following a transformational period focused on growth and scaling the business globally, Wendy’s appointment will further strengthen Dentsu Aegis Network’s leadership team and bolsters its ambition to deliver integrated solutions to help clients win, keep and grow their best customers from anywhere in the world.
