Dentsu Selected for the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

- Selected for the sixth consecutive year and the third consecutive year respectively -
Dentsu (Tokyo: 4324; ISIN: JP3551520004; President & Global CEO: Takeshi Sano; Head Office: Tokyo; Capital: 74,609.81 million yen) today announced that it has been selected as a constituent of the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index for the sixth consecutive year and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index for the third consecutive year. Both indices have been adopted by Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), one of the world’s largest pension funds.
Dentsu has also been selected as a constituent of the SOMPO Sustainability Index for the second consecutive year*1, the “Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index” for the third consecutive year and the “Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index” for the tenth consecutive year*2.

FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index:
Created by the global index and data provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index is designed as an industry neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan.
FTSE Russell evaluations are based on performance in areas such as Corporate Governance, Health & Safety, Anti-Corruption and Climate Change. Businesses included in the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index meet a variety of environmental, social and governance criteria.
FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index:
The index selects companies with higher ESG Ratings within the top 50% of each sector and supports climate transition to a low carbon economy by evaluating companies’ climate governance and climate change efforts via the Transition Pathway Initiative’s Management Quality Score.
